The eligibility for ‘Assistant Professor’ or for ‘Junior Research Fellowship and Assistant Professor’ will depend on the performance of the candidate in both the papers of UGC NET in aggregate. Eligibility Criteria for UGC NET June 2021
Education qualification: The General / Unreserved /General -EWS candidates who have secured at least 55% marks (50% marks for reserved & transgenders) in Master’s Degree or equivalent examination from Universities / Institution recognized by UGC
Age limit: Not more than 28 years as on 01.07.2020 for JRF. However, there is no upper age limit for Assistant professor jobs.

Selection procedure
The selection of the candidates for the recruitment of Assistant Professor and JRF posts will be done through UGC NET 2021 written examination and document verification. Candidates who scores the qualifying marks in UGC NET are eligible for the recruitment of Assistant professor and JRF posts.
UGC NET Exam pattern 2021
The written test will consist of two papers such as paper 1 and paper 2. Both the papers are objective type multiple choice questions. There will be no break between the papers during the exam.

- Firstly, visit official website https://csirnet.nta.nic.in
- Click on “Joint CSIR-UGC NET June 2021: Fill Registration form“
- Click on “New Registration” and then click to proceed
- Now, fill the UGC NET June 2021 application form carefully
- Upload Photograph and Signature
- Make the payment of application fee
- Click on “Submit”
- Finally, Take a print out of the application form for the future reference.
The Confirmation Page of the online Application Form could be generated only after successful payment by the Candidate. In case the Confirmation Page is not generated after payment of prescribed Fee, then the candidate should approach the concerned Bank/Payment Gateway Integrator for ensuring the successful payment.
